MEMα (Minimum Essential Medium) is a widely used basal medium containing glutamine, which supports the growth of various mammalian cell lines.

MEMα supports the growth of multiple mammalian cell lines. This basal medium is suitable for research and large-scale production of biopharmaceuticals based on cell culture, but it cannot be used directly in humans or as a drug.
